Review

If you are a fan of Desperate Housewives you will love this book.  Alice Hartley's Happiness has everything you could ask for: love, passion, birth, death, excitement and revenge.

Philippa Gregory's characters literally leap off the pages - from the oppressed Alice Hartley to her young and inexperienced (often foolish) lover, from the pompous professor to the eccentric aunt, from the judgemental neighbours to the jovial vicar.  Some you will love, others you will love to hate.

Alice Hartley's Happiness is a light-hearted and humerous tale with which to escape from the busyness of parenting, work and household chores.
