About the Author

Brooke Shiels began modeling and acting during childhoos and went on to star in film, on television, and on Broadway.  She graduated with honors from Princeton University and is the author of a memoir, the New York Times bestselling Down Came the Rain, and a picture books, Welcome to Your World, Baby, also illustrated by Cori Doerrfeld.  Brooke lives with her husband, writer/producer Chris Hency, and their daughters, Rowan and Grier, in Los Angeles.

Child's Review

I love this story as it reminds me of my Dada and all the fun we have together when we let Mama sleep in on Sundays.  I really like the pictures and found it nice and easy to read.  This book is terrific!!

This is a delightful story of a loving Dad and his fun-filled day with his daughters.  Brooke Shields'  narrative will appeal to children who enjoy spending time with their Dads, whilst Dads will relate to the challenge of keeping up with their energetic littlies, and Mums will appreciate the suggestion of Dad giving her some time to herself to rest.

Filled with bright, colourful and quirky pictures, It's the Best Day Ever, Dad! will delight children and parents alike.  A gorgeous picture book for families to share.
