Synopsis

What happens when you wish for a perfect pet, but end up with a perfect nuisance?

Flyn's sick of being bullied by Toby Downer's gang.  So when he sees Pop Hooper's Pet Express pull into town, he's keen to see if Pop has his dream dog - a fierce guard dog Flyn will call Chomper.  But how will Flyn cope when all Pop has is a tiny, round lap dog called Pumpkin.  There's no way Pumpkin could be Flyn's dream pet... is there?

Review

This book is similar to the first book in that Flyn thought he knew what his perfect dog would be like but before he could get it he had to look after a silly little dog named Pumpkin.  I really like the way  that even though Pumpkin got him in trouble Flyn changed his mind and wanted to keep him after all.  Even his dad though it was a good idea to keep Pumpkin.  I was surprised when Pop Hooper had left before Flyn could give Pumpkin back and though it was really cool how he knew that Flyn would want to keep Pumpkin for himself

This book has really cool pictures too and I found it fun and easy to read.
