About the Author
Darcey Bussell is a world famous Prima Ballerina. She joined the Royal Ballet School when she was 13 and, despite starting later than most of the other students, became a Principal of the Royal Ballet at just 19, at the same time the youngets ballerina ever to be given this honour. Darcey received both the OBE and CBE awards during her time with the Royal Ballet, and since officially retiring in 2007 she has teamed up with Katherine Jenkins in the phenomenally successful Viva la Diva. She is married with two daughters.
Review
This is the twelth book in the Magic Ballerina series - and the final book about Rosa's magical adventures in Enchantia.
I liked the way in the end Rosa understood what Madam Za-Za had meant when she said that things are sometimes different to what we think. Holly didn't mean to be so rude she was just sad because she missed her parents. It was nice of Rosa to give Holly the red ballet shoes. And I liked how Rosa remembered what Delphie had said to her when she gave her the shoes about hoping that she will find out just how special the shoes are.
I also really liked the part where Rosa was allowed to make the last wich with the orb and instead of asking for chothes or toys, she wished that she would go back to Enchantia again some day.
"The Doll's Pirouette" at the back of the book is really tricky but I'm working on it!
