Synopsis
Splat the cat can't wait for Christmas and is SURE he's been good enough for Santa to bring him all the presents on his Christmas list.
But just in case Santa needs reminding of what an exceptionally good cat he is, Splat makes himself EXTRA helpful around the house.
It's tiring work being helpful, but when Splay goes to bed on Christmas Eve he's kept awake by a worrying thought... Just how good do you need to be for Santa to visit?
A charming Christmas story perfect for any eager child awaiting Santa's arrival.

Review
This is a great story. I liked the way Splat tried to be helpful to his mother to prove that he's been a good cat - even though he ended up making a bit of a mess. I thought it was funny when Splat didn't see Santa sneaking in and out of the house because he kept rolling over in his bed and looking the other way! I also thought the ending was nice and the way they don't tell you what was in the present so you can make it up to be whatever you want.
I think the picutres are really cute and I especially like the expressions on the faces of the cats - like when they're surprised, worried and happy. I also like the way they drew the reindeer and especially rudolf's nose which was painted red instead of the grey that they used for the rest of the picture.
This is a fantastic picture book for Christmas!
