About the Author

Darcey Bussell is a world famous Prima Ballerina.  She joined the Royal Ballet School when she was 13 and, despite starting later than most of the other students, became a Principal of the Royal Ballet at just 19, at the same time the youngets ballerina ever to be given this honour.  Darcey received both the OBE and CBE awards during her time with the Royal Ballet, and since officially retiring in 2007 she has teamed up with Katherine Jenkins in the phenomenally successful Viva la Diva.  She is married with two daughters.

Review

This is the seventh book in the Magic Ballerina series - and the first book about Rosa's magical adventures in Enchantia thanks to the magic ballet shoes she was given by Delphie.

I was worried when Rosa got stuck in a dungeon, but I like the way that she was brave and found a way out.  I also like the fact that she met a new character - Nutmeg - who is a sister of Sugar.

I was really, really worried that Rosa would get in trouble for knocking Olivia over during dance class.  In the end I was proud of the way Rosa had apologised and made sure that they would still be friends

I had fund trying out "The Swan Lake Glide" steps at the end of the book.
