Synopsis The ruler of the underwater kingdom has accused the King of Enchantia of taking his special sceptre and as a punishment he's cast a storm spell over the land! Can Roas find out who really has the sceptre or will Enchantia be gloomy forever?
About the Author Darcey Bussell is a world famous Prima Ballerina. She joined the Royal Ballet School when she was 13 and, despite starting later than most of the other students, became a Principal of the Royal Ballet at just 19, at the same time the youngets ballerina ever to be given this honour. Darcey received both the OBE and CBE awards during her time with the Royal Ballet, and since officially retiring in 2007 she has teamed up with Katherine Jenkins in the phenomenally successful Viva la Diva. She is married with two daughters.
Review This is the tenth book in the Magic Ballerina series - and the fourth book about Rosa's magical adventures in Enchantia. I learned about boarding schools from this book. They sound scary but exciting too. I can understand why Rosa wasn't sure about auditioning for the Royal Ballet School. In Enchantia I thought the cave sprite Solly was sooo funny. He was naughty but cheeky. I really liked the way Nutmeg had turned Rosa and herself into water nympths - which are like mermaids but with legs. So they could find the stolen sceptre underwater. I was a bit scared of King Neptune but he turned out to be a nice person after all. I thought it was really nice of him to give Rosa a special shell to take home to remind her of him. I'm glad that in the end Rosa told her mum why she had said she didn't want to audition because then her mum got to tell her that they would both be okay if she went to boarding school. In the end Rosa changed her mind about auditioning. I can't wait to find out if she is chosen! The excercise at the back of the book was a bit tricky at first but after Mama showed me what to do I got the hang of it.
